Your choices: blocking or deleting cookies

What happens if you block cookies here? The site’s articles, guides, and calculators remain readable with cookies blocked — you can read everything and run the calculators. The one exception is the contact form: it needs basic site functionality to submit, so if you block the cookies and features it relies on, the form may not send. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — that is, we do not hand your information to other companies so they can advertise to you based on your activity across different sites and services.
When you send an inquiry through this site, that information goes to Adam and to the service providers that operate the website and his client system on his behalf, so he can respond to you. That is not a sale, and it is not sharing for advertising.
There is currently no opt-out list to join. Opt-out lists and “Do Not Sell or Share” request forms exist for businesses that sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising. Because no sale or sharing of that kind takes place here, there is nothing to opt out of — and we would rather tell you that plainly than give you a form that does nothing.
If things change
If advertising or analytics tools are added to this site in the future, this page will be updated to describe them, and a preferences control will be provided so you can make a choice about them — including a way to opt out of any sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, if that ever applied. The updated page will carry a new “Last updated” date.
